Big 10 Gender-Based Violence Annual Gathering

For this gathering, Michigan State University has chosen the theme "Cultivating Visibility: Centering Marginalized Voices." As a planning committee, we wanted to highlight voices and experiences that are too often overlooked when discussing gender-based violence. Historically, white cis heterosexual women have been centered during conversations on equity, justice and activism- leaving behind voices of marginalized identities. With a variety of speakers, activities, and discussions our hope is to expand attendees' understanding of the intersections of oppression.
