Sydney (she/her) works at MSU as the Office Manager, offering support to the team and any individuals who walk in looking for guidance. Sydney earned her general associate degree at Lansing Community College. After, she went to El Paso Community College, where she obtained a certificate in American Sign Language. Prior to joining the POE team, she spent eight years as an Army Wife, traveling the country and supporting her husband through many deployments and trainings. With this time living out of state, Sydney has been able to learn from different individuals with various backgrounds. With this experience, she has the ability to understand, communicate and connect with everyone who walks in the door.

Now that Sydney is back in her home state, she is excited to be able to establish roots here with her husband and daughter. As a family, they go for walks with their tripod dog, Southpaw, and bike rides through town whenever the chance arrives. Sydney is looking forward to being close to family, experiencing the different seasons again, and working as a Spartan in POE. Go Green!!
