Rachel Foshag, Prevention Education Manager for Online Learning & Assessment

Rachel Foshag (she/her) works at MSU as our Prevention Education Manager for Online Learning and Assessment. She manages the support for our online education modules which are used by third year, graduate students, and faculty/staff at MSU. She also manages the surveys for all POE programs and tracking assessment to identify trends and area of improvement. Rachel has a BA and MA in history with a focus on women and gender from Eastern Michigan University. She also has MLIS from the University of Washington where she focused on instructional design for information literacy. Recently, she achieved a certification in e-Learning Instruction Design from University of California, Irvine.

Rachel is originally from Monroe, Michigan which is near Lake Erie and has spent the majority of her life in Michigan. She recently moved back from NYC where she worked at the Health Sciences Library at Columbia University. She is ecstatic to be back in her home state! She enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking or anything else that get hers outside. Rachel is always down to do some adventures outdoors.
